Identity & Brochure Design Museum
Two booklets with case - 9x8 in
This project was split in two parts, and was a hypothetical redesign of the logo and exhibit brochure done for the show of the work of the prolific RAF airplane designer Reginald Michelle. For the first part of the project we were to redesign the museums logo to promote the show. I used a simple graphic approach that is easy to spot and makes use of a well known symbol to attract eager audiences to the show. The second part of the project was to create a brochure that educated the public about the designer and assisted them through the museum experience. The design is a two section slide out brochure set. The main case has two spots where the two brochures slide in. The first brochure outlines the designer’s background, his achievements and personal life story, as well as containing a special interview with the designer. The second brochure gives information about the museum, the set up and exhibit sections. It also contains information regarding the plans that are displayed.
